well i’m in the production office of the milwaukee show.it is snowing sideways and i love it.maybe to live here it would get old but for me i am stuck with the romanticism and it’s like a movie.
not a good place to be homeless.apparently in denver where we just played they have the highest rate of homeless in america-wouldn’t you hitch and slum it in palm springs!!!!i mean come on…
so the first show went well and was a touch hectic but powerful and the audience were looooud.so looud.
chris was amazing and processed all the information that goes into the show and transcended all that to turn in a display of passion and enjoyment-i hope those that saw it agree.
of course it was weird to not have nigel to my left but there you go.needs must. anyhow thanks to dave sardy,who suggested chris,we are saved by an excellent guitarist and more importantly a great person to travel with and shoot the shit. we have very similar tastes in music so it is all a new experience.
the chris isaak show was so good to do.i am his biggest fan.that guy and his band are excellent and such pure musicians.
me sach and chris went up there and i hope we come out alright.
we really enjoyed ourselves.they put us right at ease and it was a blast top to bottom.
one of my favourite moments was when chris sang-it’s now or never-an old classic done by elvis would be the most famous.anyhow it blew me away-his band just joined it right away and they sounded like a record.
it was challenging to do the acting stuff and i hope i pulled that off!!!!!!!!!!!!we’ll see–be kind be gentle when you see it!!!
last week i was in la doing a bunch of things and now we’re fully out.
