good morning world
Good morning world-
peace at last.the bus is asleep,I am unable to lie sleepless and have gotten up for my first morning in a while. And it’s a beautiful thing.a smooth ride into panama beach for the extra show we put in .
we were supposed to have a couple of days off beachwise down in Miami but this show came up so we’re hauling it
over to panama city..
let’s face it-I live in a bubble.this circus city to city town to town.and I love it.
These shows are spectacular in certain ways and to see all the people come out and the crowds after and before and during, mmmmm.just making sense.
Everyone getting lost.spinning into the music..
Last night we played the sunrise just outside Miami-I was the last rock show they will have there-it’s been sold to a church.we gave it a decent send off and the vibe in the building will carry over..it’s been a place of worship of one sort or antoher for ages then and shall continue-with less guitars though. I love to be near the sea.when we arrived the other morning 5am I sat on the balcony listening to the sea.searching.thinking.spacing.
What a great sound.a thousand voices all at once.
And the smell-the scent of the sea salt.
You can lose yourself for ever looking out over the ocean
Things on my mind-winston and
.golden state and.inflatable.
This is a weird time for us.i want to get golden state out to more people.it is frustrating cos it seems to be our best secret yet!!!!!!!!!!!
And now with inflatable coming out-you gotta wonder what’s gonna happen.we are shooting a video for it at least so there will be a wider audience outside of the good people we see night after night.
There are plans,dreams,machinations..but for now we play.
The vibe seems so strong at the shows.we need to spread that worldwide.
I can’t get enough.i would play longer,play more obscure stuff(well album tracks)covers etc.but I guess it’s best to not play for toooooooooo long although sometimes I wanna.
Maybe breakfast would be good.certainly make a change.i would eat bacon and eggs everyday if I could and it was healthy but it is not but maybe today is the day.it is Sunday after all.will there be loud families running about the place?obviously!!!!!
We have lost an hour here so we go back in time for anhour!!!!!
What would you change if you could go back a week?a month?
If I had it all again I’d change it all..
