In Exile

Hi all

Here I sit in what feels like exile – the boys in the band away with their new guitar player and me stuck here waiting to start holding the baby. How strange it is!

Still I’m busy doing what I do – writing songs, collaborating with a few people – I’ve nearly finished what I hope will be my next solo album – just suffering from an apathy attack right now but I’ll be turning that around very soon and we’ll see if anybody will buy the next one. It’s a lot quieter than a Bush record – more chilled out and relaxed. I just have to make sure that it doesn’t have the same results as a sleeping draught.I’ve noticed that I tend to fall asleep a lot in the studio…. I put it down to my advancing years and sleepless nights but the music could be a contributing factor. Same thing happens when Creed comes on the radio!

I quit smoking over the new year so I’m alot of fun to be around. Life seems so pointless without a smoke but then it probably always did but I sure could use a smoke…..

If you’re going to the shows I hope you enjoy them – pass my regards on to the boys.

Oh and can anybody tell me what sort of image we project these days – I’m having an identity crisis and your comments would be very helpful! You know – combats or denim – Prada or Mook etc.
Have fun.
