What a weekend! Gavin’s performance at the Camp Freddy show was awesome (as always). he didn’t quite fit in as well as the rest of the leather clad guests, but the audience still loved him. Much to my disappointment, the vocals were well over powered by the guitars for most of the show. And surprise surprise, Gavin was joined by Chris Tranyor, so maybe that will squash the break-up rumors. Anyhow, I took loads of pictures & I promise to have them up by the end of the week. Gavin has confirmed his appearance at the Rock the Vote event. He thinks he will be performing 2 songs. Yours truely is also heading to the show. So I will try to get pictures and whatnot.

Confirmed news on the Camp Freddy/Rock the Vote Gavin appearance. According to the Rock The Vote web site Gavin is scheduled to APPEAR (they didn’t say play) at the After Hours with Camp Freddy event. The Camp Freddy web site has also confirmed Gavin’s appearance, as of yesterday. Ticket are $30 and are available at ticketmaster.

Well, the Oscars have finally posted their list of definite nominees & unfortunately Gavin’s ‘Adrenaline’ did not make it. However, a bunch of other crap ass songs did. Personally, it was good to know his song was even being considered.

Catch Bush on tv. Sunday 12 Jan, Bush on the Box (holland channel, more info check 334 teletext). Also in Holland, the Veronica Channel will start airing reruns of The Chris Issac Show starting 11 Jan (Gavin was on the ‘Gimme Shelter’ episode). And for the people in North America, if you can catch a rerun of VH1’s 100 sexiest artist Gavin is #79. In Germany, you can catch Bush on Samstagnacht -04.58 Uhr, 19 Jan. They are airing a live concert from Nurburgring am 17 May 2002.

Ask and ye shall receive! I posted the lyrics for ‘American Eyes’ in Gavin’s journal feedback asking him to correct them. Lo and behold, as part of his New Year’s Eve journal entry he did. you can find the correct lyrics along with his other comments on the song here on this site.
