I’d just like to take a moment to wish Chris Traynor a very Happy Birthday. When I think of Chris, the first phrase that springs to mind is “low-ego facilitator”. He’s a true example of someone who gets in the gap and understands how to channel his energy and creativity into something larger than himself, simultaneously preserving and respecting the music’s existing legacy while infusing it with a dynamic, fresh energy. Beyond being an excellent musician and artist, I think anyone who’s had even a minimum of contact with him over the years can attest to the fact that he’s a genuine, standup dude who has treated the fans of Bush with the utmost respect and gratitude. Thank you for having been and continuing to be a positive influence on me, as a person, and thank you for continuing to be a vital member of the Bush family.
