Today at noon (eastern/standard time) Bush: Coming From Nowhere will be re-running on the ovation channel. Also, I would like to send out an early Happy Birthday to Gavin!! Hop over to the Bush Forum to send out your birthday wishes to Gavin. Oh, one last thing, one of the members at the Bush forum caught a glimse of Gavin in the newly released movie ‘Wimbeldon’. It’s a tennis movie starring Kirsten Dunst.. go figure.

Two things: first, I went and saw ‘Little Black Book’. Even though Gavin was playing some coffee shop guy..he still oozed of Gavin. He had way more speaking lines than I expected, so for that I guess it was worth going. This movie though is typically the type of movie that I would wait if it came on HBO or something. But, since I got blasted by the hurricane & had no power, what else was I to do.

Next: SACHA!!! yes the man himself. Sacha was nice enough to pop in with a small update. He’s in the states right now on holiday, but got new music coming out in September.. If you haven’t heard about this collaboration yet it’s called ‘Remasterpiece‘. Hey everyone, I’m back in action. I’m sure this is super old news, but it’s definetly worthy of repeating. Word through the grapevine is Gavin is going to finally release a solo album. Is this just more hearsay? You decide for yourself ‘Gavin Rossdale Moving Along on Solo Debut’.

What’s going on?! Not much. I’ve been adding tidbits of stuff here and there. Trying to kep things alive, barely. Just for kicks, I’ve got some info. about the movie ‘Constantine’. It’s one of the movies Gavin’s made his way into & thus far it seems like it will be the first of his to be released.

Gavin’s resurfaced, so what does that mean? Updates! He’s confirmed the rumours about working on 3 new songs with a founding member of Helmet. Also, he’s got more movies in the work (gavin don’t quit your day job, please!). On his next feature ‘Little Black Book’, he’ll be working with Brittany Murphy. Just a few lines, but better than nothing. See what VH1 had to say about the whole thing. On another note, if you haven’t check out Gavin’s latest journal entry, you should. Makes a fan feel good.

There have been rumours flying all around..mostly involving the band Helmet. First there’s the news that Helmet has gotten back together, including Chris Traynor. But Chris wasn’t an original member anyhow, just one of the last men standing. Next, it’s also been said that Helmet has produced 3 new songs for Gavin. I could see that happening.

Gavin Rossdale puts Bush on hold

BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale has told Kerrang! that he intends to put Bush on the sidelines while he concentrates on his new side project.

‘I’ve been writing loads of songs and its very experimental,’ says Rossdale. ‘Bush is just on a hiatus and we’ll make a new record in the future, definitely. But as for this project, I’m trying to keep the details under wraps in case it doesn’t work out. But Kerrang! will be the first to know, I promise. I’m really excited by it.’

There you have it! Well, we already knew Gavin had a bunch of songs raring to go, but we thought they were meant for Bush. Apparently NOT. So where does that leave us now? Don’t think I have been updating the site, cause I have. It’s just that a whole lot isn’t really going on right now. You could go and see ‘Terminator 3’ and support Gavin’s brief musical appearance in the credits (I’m talking about ‘The Current’ for those who don’t know). I’ve added a few new cool finds to the discography section, in case anyone is interested (eg. mouth (on vinyl), RBSC (from India), KOTM (gatefold :) i finally added a photo), and some other things).
