98.7 FM Video Chat

A big thank you to Gavin for mentioning my site during the video chat. Yes, I held onto the name, but more importantly I held on to the dream that Bush would come back. Watch the entire video here…. OSB gets mentioned after 19:19.

01 on 00:00:01

I’m adding an new section to the site call 01 on 00:00:01. I’m hoping to do a series of interviews that all revolve around Bush. Either they helped make or influence Bush’s music or they are just some how tied to the band in some way. Hope you all enjoy! I will be posting the first interview shortly!

Nigel Interview on Wales Music BBC

‘I’d rather 20,000 people in an arena than two pages in the NME any day of the week.’ .. Nigel Pulsford.

I came across a more recent interview done with Nigel back in November 2009 via the BBC’s Wales Music. It’s short but interesting, most of all I’m glad someone out there still cares…

Nigel Pulsford – A Recent Interview

Leave it to our friends at Stereo Zeitgeist to beat me to the punch on a fresh and new Nigel Pulsford Interview. Good work and so elliquently composed!

The Project

For those who need a Nigel fix, Nigel along with many other artist (including his sister Jan) is a featured artist appearing on The Project cd. ‘Love & Laughter’ is his personal favorite, so check that one out too. What’s Nigel up too? He’s producing these day..that’s about all I could manage for now.

Is Bush finished? The long awaited answer to the most dreaded question has finally been given. Check out this Gavin interview from Dread Central.

Feeding The Fire

I found this article on the net, it was posted last week. It’s fairly fresh, ‘Rossdale Feeds The Fire With Institute

Bush’s Gavin Rossdale is moving forward with his music career, wrapping up a new album under the moniker Institute. Gavin, who also has his first meaty film role in Constantine, which opens Friday, says resting on his laurels was never an option. ‘I’ve been able to feed myself these past two years, but at the same time it hasn’t satisfied the creative impulses I’ve had,’ says Gavin. ‘I don’t think my ambition was dimmed by the fact that I knew that I had sandwiches for life.’ The disc finds Rossdale working with Helmet’s Page Hamilton, and the vocalist said he expects the normal themes of the human condition to populate the release. The album is due in July.

So there you have it, new music from Gavin .this year. I have to say, I’m just not as excited about this album than if it were a new Bush album. There’s a void.

Nigel Drops By

Hi everyone, I’ve been in contact with Nigel recently. I wanted to see what was going on in his world lately. I don’t feel at liberty to post his entire email, but here’s a few things he had to say, ‘I’ve been working on a few things, I did an advert with Dave Parsons for a French car company, I’ve been recording an album for some friends, working on a few things of my own. I’m not in any great hurry to do anything and enjoying watching the kids destroy the house. In addition, Hope Gavin’s album sounds better than those memorable
Helmut tunes. We had a great party for Dave’s birthday! I’m missing the fans.’ We miss you too Nigel. This last part saddened me, but I guess reality has to set in sometime. ‘One could say that there isn’t much Bush around anymore.’ Well, to me Bush will always be around, even if they’re not sticking it out together.

Robin Surfaces

Hang in there, I’m still here. I’m going to be posting some stuff I’ve been meaning to get around to. Including all your entries for the ‘cover song’ & ‘new album title’. I found some old school Bush patches at the flea market, so I will be putting some up for sale soon. Patches are hard to come by, so I felt lucky even finding them.

Robin has resurfaced in a band called ‘Harrington’, hopefully just for the time being. Read more at BigWideWorld.com. Thanks to Philippe for the heads up & the interview!
