16Stone Anniversary

I’m still here, I’ve been popping in, but haven’t had a news. Well, I should have stopped in sooner to say HAPPY TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY to ‘Sixteen Stoneâ’.. yes my fine friends, 16stone was released 10 years ago on Dec. 9 (that’s the US release date).. so congrats to you.. I think I here the 16stone the most on the radio. Daily.

Gavin and Sacha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!!! I just wanted to get that out of my system before I move on to other news. As trashy as this my be, Gavin & Gwen made the cover of the November issue of Star Magazine. It’s one of the most popular trash magazines out there. I was just suprised that they thought Gavin’s trash was cover worthy. So, congrats for making the cover.

More Sacha update, Sacha’s own web site (SachaPuttnam.com) is back up in action again. It’s way more extensive then the original site. Also, his new collaberate album (Remasterpiece) which was due out in September has now been pushed back to be released on January 3, so hang in there, it’s coming. I want to thank Sacha for keeping and touch and keeping us up to date. THANK YOU!!!

Coming From Nowhere

Today at noon (eastern/standard time) Bush: Coming From Nowhere will be re-running on the ovation channel. Also, I would like to send out an early Happy Birthday to Gavin!! Hop over to the Bush Forum to send out your birthday wishes to Gavin. Oh, one last thing, one of the members at the Bush forum caught a glimse of Gavin in the newly released movie ‘Wimbeldon’. It’s a tennis movie starring Kirsten Dunst.. go figure.

Movie And An Album

Two things: first, I went and saw ‘Little Black Book’. Even though Gavin was playing some coffee shop guy..he still oozed of Gavin. He had way more speaking lines than I expected, so for that I guess it was worth going. This movie though is typically the type of movie that I would wait if it came on HBO or something. But, since I got blasted by the hurricane & had no power, what else was I to do.

Next: SACHA!!! yes the man himself. Sacha was nice enough to pop in with a small update. He’s in the states right now on holiday, but got new music coming out in September.. If you haven’t heard about this collaboration yet it’s called ‘Remasterpiece‘. Click on the album title to go to the web site.. there’s all kinds of cool things to look at (video footage & music clips), plus you try your chance at winning the album!!

Gavin Going Solo

Hey everyone, I’m back in action. I’m sure this is super old news, but it’s definetly worthy of repeating. Word through the grapevine is Gavin is going to finally release a solo album. Is this just more hearsay? You decide for yourself ‘Gavin Rossdale Moving Along on Solo Debut’.

Nigel Drops By

Hi everyone, I’ve been in contact with Nigel recently. I wanted to see what was going on in his world lately. I don’t feel at liberty to post his entire email, but here’s a few things he had to say, ‘I’ve been working on a few things, I did an advert with Dave Parsons for a French car company, I’ve been recording an album for some friends, working on a few things of my own. I’m not in any great hurry to do anything and enjoying watching the kids destroy the house. In addition, Hope Gavin’s album sounds better than those memorable
Helmut tunes. We had a great party for Dave’s birthday! I’m missing the fans.’ We miss you too Nigel. This last part saddened me, but I guess reality has to set in sometime. ‘One could say that there isn’t much Bush around anymore.’ Well, to me Bush will always be around, even if they’re not sticking it out together.

Vanilla Ice Does Bush

I’ve got some new live songs to add, but that will have to be later. Plus more One Second clips.

I thought this next bit is kind of funny. I was watching this show called ‘The Surreal Life’ on Fox and the final episode was about a week and a half ago. If you’re not familar, it’s another reality show that stuck ‘used to be super famous’ people in a house together for 12 days. One of the guys was x- Vanilla Ice man, Rob VanWinkle. Here’s the funny part, at their last dinner together Tammy Fay Baker gives Rob this Alien doll and he busts out singing this death metal version of out beloved ‘Alien’. He only does a couple of verses but it’s pretty funny. I’m posting the clip here, so have a listen.

Future Primitive

For my fellow collector’s, here’s a super heads up, the rare Future Primitive vinyl is up for grabs on ebay, take a look.
